In mid 2016 we teamed up with Brisbane's PUSH Architects and won the commission for the Design of the redevelopment of the Sunshine Beach Surf Club. Being such a significant and iconic project located in our backyard, and myself being a Clubbie and Surfer this is a wonderful opportunity to be part of an outstanding team that produced a new and exciting building for the Community. In October 2017 a Planning Approval was given by Noosa Council. Demolition of the original building began in late March 2019 with the new building complete and open mid January 2020

For comparison with the complete building we have kept the original renderings on the website

The view from Ed Webb Park

The sheltering court- orientated to the north east to capture the winter sun and shelter from south east weather, with the fireplace this space will be very popular.

The new building incorporates several distinctly differently designed spaces, each one with its own character and outlook.

The new function space is a flexible venue with sweeping 180 degree ocean views. It will cater for events from early morning till late and will provide a much needed asset for Sunshine Beach
